Typhoon Philippines At noon on October 28, the Philippine National Disaster Reduction Commission announced that the number of

deaths caused by Typhoon Morafi this year in the Philippines has risen to nine, with six others injured and two missing.

A total of more than 200,000 people have been affected by the disaster, and more than 40,000 of them are

still being placed in evacuation centers. A total of 81 accidents occurred across the Philippines,

including 60 floods, 17 landslides and 4 marine accidents. A total of 93 highway sections and 20 bridges were damaged in the typhoon.
