Two Suzuki factories stopped production after a military coup in Myanmar

Kyodo News Agency, February 2, Suzuki Motor Company said on Tuesday that it had stopped production at two automobile factories in Myanmar to ensure the safety of its employees after the military coup.

Suzuki Motors said it had stopped production at its Yangon factory on Monday local time, where 400 employees worked.

Suzuki has not decided when to resume production.
