November 24, the Israel Defense Forces issued a notice that a light aircraft crashed in southern Israel that day, and two pilots were killed.
According to Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Zilberman, the two pilots were training to fly when the plane crashed.

The instructor was a reserve officer who served in the F16 fighter flight team. The trainees had received flight training for four months.
