December 26th – After shooting two shots at a black teenager in the back, two policemen in California, took out the bullets with their hands before medical staff arrived.

According to a lawsuit filed this week, two police officers in Hayward, San Francisco Bay Area wrongly shot the 17-year-old in June this year and then took out bullets with their bare hands.

This is too barbaric,” said Adante Pointer, the lawyer of the juvenile family. “Luckily, the act of taking bullets by hand does not cause more serious harm to the teenager.” Point also tweeted photos of the teenager’s injuries.

The lawsuit said that the teenager fell asleep in a car near the robbery site and woke up at 4 a.m. to find the police at the scene. When he drove past the policeman, the police shot him.

The teenager began to escape and was arrested by the police. Police charged the teenager with assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon. The charges were later dropped.

Police officer Samuel Tomlinson said he thought the car was going to hit him, so he shot.

Local police issued a statement saying that second policeman Stephen Akacsos also fired shots because he believed that “his partner was either shot or hit by a car”.

According to the report, Hayward police have referred the case to the municipal prosecutor’s office.

It is not clear how the police handled the bullets taken out.
