Turkish President Departs to Visit Azerbaijan to Participate in Azerbaijan Military Parade

December 9, local time, Turkish President Erdogan set off for a visit to Azerbaijan. According to information released by the Turkish Presidential Palace, Erdogan will visit Baku from December 9th to 10th at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Aliyev. 

During the visit, Erdogan will participate in the victory parade in Azerbaijan. At the same time, he will discuss the regional situation with Azerbaijani President Aliyev and strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The two sides will also sign some agreements.

Azerbaijan will hold a military parade on December 10 to commemorate its victory in the nagorno karabakh conflict.

On September 27, a new round of conflict broke out in Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Naka region. 

On November 9, the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia signed a statement announcing a complete ceasefire in the Naka region from 00:00 on November 10, Moscow time. 

On the 1st of this month, the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that Russia and Turkey have signed an agreement on the establishment of a ceasefire joint monitoring center in the Naka region.
