February 10 According to Taiwan’s “Central News Agency” Ankara on February 9, Turkish President Erdogan announced a 10-year space plan on February 9, including ambitious plans to send Turkish astronauts to the moon in 2023.

Erdoğan said that the lunar landing will be divided into two stages.

Through cooperation with the international community, the hybrid rocket will be put into orbit by the end of 2023 and the first hard landing will be completed on the moon.

The report also said that Turkey, in cooperation with Space Exploration Company, will use the company’s rocket to put Turkey’s Turksat 5A satellite into orbit from the U.S. mainland launch site.

The Turksat 5B satellite is expected to be launched in the second quarter of this year.

Erdogan also said that Turkey’s goal is to achieve strategic space goals within 10 years.

He added that Turkey will continue to develop satellite technology and establish a space station jointly with other allies.
