by YCPress

At 19:58 on October 30, 2020, the Tsunami Warning Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources released tsunami information.

At 19:51 on October 30, 2020 (Beijing time), a magnitude 6.9 earthquake occurred in Turkish waters (37.71°N, 26.69°E) with a focal depth of 15.0 kilometers.

The Tsunami Warning Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources judged based on preliminary seismic parameters that the earthquake may cause a local tsunami around the source, but because the source is located outside the Pacific Ocean, it will not affect the coast of my country.

The Tsunami Warning Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources will continue to track and analyze earthquake and tsunami monitoring data and release information in a timely manner.
