All restaurants and bars must close before 23:00, and no gatherings of more than four people are allowed, and parties on the terrace and boats are not allowed.

In addition, the governments of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand and other governments have issued similar regulations, imposing curfews during New Year’s Day to restrict New Year’s celebrations.
