November 24th Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs said on Twitter that in an internal memo to employees, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said that the White House will ” Cooperate with all necessary work to ensure a smooth transition of the regime.”

According to the content released by Jacobs, Meadows told employees that their work is not over yet. However, Meadows also requires employees to not allow any contact with the Biden transition team without authorization, and the communication work will be assigned to a commissioner.

On the 23rd, Emily Murphy, the chief executive of the U.S. General Services Administration, wrote to Biden that the Trump administration is ready to officially start the transition process. The US Department of Defense has issued a statement saying that it has contacted the Biden team and will begin to provide support for the government’s transition.
