According to the latest news from AFP, U.S. Secretary of State Blincoln vowed to hold the militants who attacked the U.S. Air Force Base in Iraq, Erbil, severely accountable.

According to AFP, the international coalition led by the United States said that an air base in Iraqi Kurdistan was attacked by rockets late on the 15th local time, killing a foreign contractor and injuring six others, including an American soldier.

At least three rockets reportedly targeted Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish region, and one of them hit a military facility near Erbil airport, where the United States-led coalition troops were stationed.
