According to the Hill, on the morning of the 13th local time, the U.S. House of Representatives began to debate Trump’s impeachment case, after which the House of Representatives will hold a second vote to confirm.

Earlier, U.S. Vice President Pence wrote to Speaker of the House of Representatives Pelosi on the 12th, refusing to invoke the 25th amendment to the Constitution to remove President Trump from office.

Earlier that day, the House of Representatives released the final version of the impeachment bill to be put to a vote.

The impeachment clause accused Trump of “sedition” and demanded that he be “impeached and tried, and his presidential disqualified from the relevant honor, credit and paid positions” he held.
