Mount Everest is located on the border between China and Nepal, its south slope is located in Nepal, and its north slope is located in Tibet, China. It is understood that in the spring of 2021, Tibet Yara Shampoo Adventure Services Co., Ltd. is the only group to obtain permission to organize climbing activities on the north slope, a total of 21 Chinese climbers have been granted climbing permits.

After the south slope climbing season on the Nepalese side began in late March, foreign media reported an outbreak of coronavirus at the South Slope climbing camp. Xinhua News Agency reporters previously learned that the CIWEC hospital in Kathmandu had received several foreign climbers from the climbing camp three weeks ago, after they were diagnosed with the coronavirus. The climbers have now been discharged, said Panter, head of the hospital’s commercial development department.

Since july, climbers, guides and collaborators, including Bahrain’s Prince Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Khalifa, have climbed Mount Everest from the Nepalese side.

On the 12th, two foreign climbers died on the mountain after being exhausted on their way down from the summit. Nepal’s mountaineering authority told the media that the deaths of the two men were not related to xinguan pneumonia.
