August 20, local time, the Somali National Army said its armed forces killed 60 al-Shabab militants, including two senior Al-Shabaab commanders, in a military operation in the southwestern province of Lower Shabelle.
Somalia’s military said on the 16th local time, in the past month, they killed at least 279 “al-Shabab” militants.
