According to the introduction, the frigate is manufactured by Amur Shipyard. The ship is equipped with artillery, anti-submarine torpedoes, anti-ship anti-aircraft missiles and other weapons, and can carry “zircon” ultra-high-speed anti-ship missiles.
Before receiving it, the ship has carried out many weapon shooting, navigation and other tests, and has passed the national acceptance. Russian hero Ardar Zidenzapov is the seventh mass production of the 20380 “Guardian” class frigate.
The Russian Baltic Fleet and the Pacific Fleet are equipped with four and two ships of the same type, respectively.
In addition, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the new minesweeping ship Yakov Baliyaev has passed the national acceptance and will join the Russian Pacific Fleet series on December 26.
The ship is a Type 12700 “rock-changing”-class minesweeping ship. The first ship entered service in 2015 and its mission is to clear modern mines.
