February 23 According to a report by the Russian Satellite Agency, Moscow on February 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters that the Russian Air Force will hold two large-scale exercises with personnel and equipment airborne and live ammunition in March.
It is reported that the exercises will be held at Obek Range (Crimea) and Dubrović Range (Ryanzam Oblast).
The source said: “A total of more than 3,000 air officers and soldiers and about 200 pieces of military equipment and special equipment will be used in the exercise.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense pointed out that the head command exercise will be held at the Obuk shooting range.
During the exercise, the drill personnel and equipment will be airborne, and then the facilities of the hypothetical enemy will be occupied and defended until the main force arrives. Meanwhile, the airborne commandos unit will land from the large landing ship of the Black Sea Fleet and then conduct coastal defense training for the imaginary enemy marines.
The report pointed out that the regimental tactical exercises involving the Tula Parachute Regiment will be carried out at Dubrović shooting range.
After parachuting down with equipment, officers and soldiers will first occupy the imaginary enemy’s airport and then carry out defensive exercises.
