At 9:00 local time on April 5, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was heard for the third time in the Jerusalem District Court.

Regarding the three cases of Netanyahu suspected of bribery, fraud and breach of trust, the Jerusalem District Court has held more than a dozen pretrial hearings since last May. Netanyahu has been trying to avoid participating in court hearings, and on the 5th is his third personal appearance.

Starting from the 5th of this month, the court will start the evidence stage. After the prosecutor made his court appearance statement, Netanyahu was allowed to leave. Starting this week, the hearings at the Netanyahu trial phase are scheduled to be held from 9 to 15:30 every Monday to Wednesday.

Netanyahu is the first Prime Minister in Israeli history to be prosecuted during his term of office. He denied any misconduct and said that the Israeli prosecutor’s office, the police, the media and the opposition were launching a coup against him.

The former president of the Jerusalem District Court estimated that Netanyahu’s legal proceedings would take three years to be completed, involving 315 witnesses, including 50 important witnesses.
