The ban will take effect from 00:00 on December 30 and last until January 15, 2021. Variant COVID-19 cases have been reported in all 20 countries and regions.

It is reported that these 20 countries and regions include: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, Singapore, Japan, Germany, Australia, Iceland, South Africa, Italy, Israel, Spain, the Netherlands, Lebanon, Canada, Sweden, France, South Korea and Hong Kong, China.

The report also said that Filipino workers overseas will be allowed to enter the country, but they will need to be quarantined for 14 days.
