The Philippines approves the emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine.

January 14th According to a Bloomberg report on the 14th, the Philippines has approved the emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine, which is the first coronavirus vaccine approved for emergency use in the country.

The Philippine Food and Drug Administration said that the vaccine can be used for people aged 16 and above.

Vaccine director Galvez said at the meeting on the same day that Pfizer vaccine may be one of the first vaccines to arrive in the Philippines next month through the World Health Organization’s Coronavirus Vaccine Program (COVAX).

The Philippine government is also communicating with Pfizer, hoping to obtain up to 40 million doses.
