According to the latest news from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam on January 30, since the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in northern Vietnam on January 28, there have been 180 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Vietnam, including 157 in Haiyang Province, 18 in Guangning Province, 2 in Hanoi City, 2 in Beining Province and 1 case in Haiphong City.

At present, with the assistance of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, the Central Tropical Disease Hospital of Vietnam and the Baimei Hospital of Vietnam, two field hospitals have been built in Haiyang Province of Vietnam, which can treat 600 patients with COVID-19 at the same time.

Among them, Zhiling Field Hospital, managed by Zhiling Health Center, has begun to provide treatment for some patients with COVID-19.

In addition, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Chan San said that Haiyang Province must conduct large-scale coronavirus nucleic acid testing for people in the province, especially those related to Zhiling City and Yuntun Airport.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in order to prevent and control the pandemic, the number of quarantine days for passengers entering Vietnam in Vietnam in the future will be extended from 14 days to 21.
