The No. 1 typhoon “Cuckoo” landed in the Philippines this year, affecting more than 50,000 people.

The National Meteorological Administration of the Philippines announced that this year’s No. 1 typhododendron “Cuckoo” had made landfall on Battag Island, North Sama Province, the Philippines, at 9:00 local time on February 22, with a tropical low pressure.4

On the same day, the National Disaster Reduction Commission of the Philippines said that as of 8 o’clock on the 22nd, 16,059 families in the Philippines had been evacuated early, and the number of people affected exceeded 50,000.
