The mayor of Seoul, South Korea, asked for a pardon for Park Geun-hye

April 21 2021 South Korea’s Seoul Mayor Wu Shih-hoon asked for a pardon for two former presidents, Park Geun-hye and Lee Myung-bak, during a lunch with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in TsingWatai on April 21, Yonhap reported. In this regard, Wen responded that the matter should consider not only the national consensus, but also social solidarity.

Wu Shih-hoon, who was elected mayor of Seoul on April 8 this year, belongs to South Korea’s largest opposition party, the National Forces Party, and is in the conservative camp alongside Park Geun-hye and Lee Myung-bak.
