The G20 Business Summit is an important supporting event within the G20 mechanism. The theme of this year’s summit is
Transformation to achieve inclusive growth.” Due to Coronavirus Pandemic, this summit was held online.
Representatives of business, academia, and international organizations from all over the world who participated in the conference said in
their speeches that the world should unite and cooperate to achieve sustainable economic growth.
In his closing speech, the rotating chairman of the Group of Twenty, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Falih
stated that the pandemic has severely impacted the global market, including the tourism industry
and highlighted the importance of achieving economic inclusiveness and sustainable growth.
The G20 has invested 11 trillion U.S. dollars to promote economic recovery, and agreed to reduce and forgive part of the debts of 73 countries.
