The funeral of the murdered Iranian nuclear physicist was held in Tehran. The Minister of Defense delivered a speech.
According to Iranian media reports, on the 30th local time, the funeral of the assassinated Iranian senior nuclear physics scientist Fakrizad was held in the Ministry of Defense, attended by senior Iranian military generals.
Subsequently, Fakrizad’s body was buried in the area near Tehran.
At the funeral, Iranian Defense Minister Khatami said that no crime, terrorism and stupidity can be tolerated, and Iran will continue to track down criminals and implement Supreme Leader Khamenei’s instructions.
Khatami pointed out that the progress and development of Iranian science will continue, and the research results of great scientists will spare no effort to continue. It is reported that the budget of the research and innovation organization of the Iranian Ministry of Defense will double next year.
In addition, Khatami said that the condoning of terrorist acts by some countries can only make terrorists more shameless. If these countries do not take a tough stance and stay in double standards, the blame of terrorism will be redirected to them.
