January 17th local time, the Greek Civil Aviation Authority announced that the domestic flight restriction instructions for all airports in the country will continue until 6:00 on January 25.
The Greek Civil Aviation Authority said that domestic flight operations at this time will continue to follow the principle of serving only basic travel, with the aim of protecting the public from the threat of the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to the domestic flight restriction directive of the Greek Civil Aviation Authority, domestic flights are only allowed for the following types and situations:
1. Greek National Health Security System flights and related medical flights;
2. Emergency flights, as well as government officials, military, cargo and firefighting flights;
3. Humanitarian flights, EU border police and Coast Guard flight.
And if there is a temporary need for landing and refueling during the flight, passengers are not allowed to leave the cabin.
