According to the website of The Hill, the day after President Biden was sworn in, Republican Congressman Marjorie Green said on the 21st local time that she had submitted impeachment clauses against Biden.
The report said that Green’s impeachment clause specified any impeachable crimes committed by Biden, but the text is not available at present. But Green pointed out that these provisions accused Biden of “abusing his power” during his presidency, allowing his son Hunter to serve on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
Green said last week that she would introduce impeachment clauses against Biden the day after taking office.
Biden previously denied taking his son’s business interests into account in making any policy decisions on Ukraine, the report said.
Last year, Senate Republicans investigated corruption allegations against the Bidens and found no evidence of misconduct by the current president.
