According to CNN, researchers from the University of Pittsburgh released a study on the 4th that the coronavirus vaccination sites in the United States are generally located closer to the local white population and farther away from the African-American community.

The report said that researchers analyzed the location of coronavirus vaccination sites in 69 counties across the United States and reached the above conclusions.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also released a report this week that only 5% of the vaccinated people were African-American in the first month of vaccination against the novel coronavirus.

Some researchers said that people of African descent often live in low-density areas such as hospitals, pharmacies, etc., and they have greater barriers to getting coronavirus vaccines than white people, so the government needs to develop vaccination plans for these groups.
