According to the British Guardian, on the 24th local time, the United Kingdom and the European Union reached a post-Brexit trade agreement.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced the news in a statement on the same day, saying that “the agreement has been finalized”.
Prime Minister Johnson also confirmed the news.
According to Reuters, Johnson said at a press conference that the British Parliament will vote to approve the trade agreement on December 30.
He said that the agreement would be reviewed “after the parliamentary vote on December 30”.
