The 74th Cannes Film Festival has been postponed to July 2021.

The organizing committee of the Cannes Film Festival in France issued a statement on January 27th local time that due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the 74th Cannes Film Festival, originally scheduled for May 11 to 22, 2021, will be postponed to July 6 to 17.

The Cannes International Film Festival in France, together with the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany and the Venice International Film Festival in Italy, is known as the three major international film festivals in Europe. Its highest award is the Palme d’Or.
