The 64-year-old Python father said he was too boring after retirement and officially joined Microsoft

As the creator of Python, Guido van Rossum has been committed to the maintenance of the Python community, but in October last year, after six and a half years at Dropbox, he announced his retirement and retired from the Python core decision-making layer.

He said on Twitter that retirement is too boring, so he has joined the Microsoft development department. As for what to do, there are too many choices, but what is certain is that whatever you do will make Python better, and not only in On Windows, there is also open source.

It is reported that after joining Microsoft, Guido van Rossum will work with Typescript/C# founder Anders, VS Code/Eclipse founder Eric, and Linux GNOME author Miguel in the team of Microsoft’s senior vice president Pan Zhenglei.
