In the “close observation area” and “observation area” where the epidemic is relatively mild, gathering activities must be approved by the local government in advance and epidemic prevention measures must be taken.

Due to the surge in the number of cases, Chunburi Prefecture Yin signed an order on the 30th announcing the implementation of comprehensive restrictions in Pattaya City and Banglamont County from that day.

All shopping malls and restaurants in the above two areas are closed and only take-out services can be provided; convenience stores are closed from 22:00 to 5:00 the next day; educational institutions, swimming pools, cinemas, gyms, barbershops, etc. are closed; and all indoor and outdoor activities that may trigger crowds are closed.

Late this month, a large-scale infection occurred at the Seafood Market and Luoyongfu Casino in Sahu, Thailand, which led to a second outbreak in Thailand. As of the 30th, there were a total of local infections in 48 provinces in Thailand.

Since December 17, 2,246 new confirmed cases have been reported in Thailand, with a total of 6,690 cases and 61 deaths.
