News from the Austrian National Radio and Television Station, at around 8pm local time on November 2, a shooting incident occurred in the center of the Austrian capital of Vienna, which has caused many casualties. At present, the area where the incident occurred has been sealed off, an assailant has been shot dead, and the arrest is still continuing.

Austrian Minister of the Interior Karl Nehammer told the media that he was convinced that this was a terrorist attack carried out by multiple attackers, and that there are still many heavily armed and dangerous attackers “at large .”

The shooting occurred in six locations near the synagogue

The Vienna police confirmed that the shooting that night occurred first near a synagogue, and there were a total of six attacks. At least one passerby and one suspect have been killed so far. Many of the injured are dying, including a police officer.

Another suspect was arrested after an exchange of fire with the police, and one or more suspects who were at large carried weapons including long-barreled firearms.

The police blocked the search on a large scale and asked the people to stay at home

The police immediately blocked the city center of Vienna on a large scale and launched a search.

At the same time, people are required to avoid the area where the case occurred and stay at home, and not to post photos or videos of the crime scene on social media, but to provide it to the relevant authorities.

It has not been determined whether the nearby synagogue was the target of the attack, and the identity and motives of the attackers are unclear.

It is reported that ambulance personnel from other Austrian states have also rushed to Vienna to provide support after the incident.
