T3 people have died after a car plunged into an aqueduct in the northern Philippines

April 19 2021 Police in the northern Philippine province of Kalinga said Thursday that a car crashed into an aqueduct near the city of Tabuk in the province on the evening of the 18th, killing 13 people, including seven children.

Police said there were 15 people in the car, mostly kinship, who had just finished a picnic before the incident. Their vehicle crashed on their way home, accidentally falling into an irrigation canal in a local village, and 13 people died after being taken to local hospitals, including seven children between the ages of 3 and 6, and two survivors were in stable condition.

At present, the police are investigating the cause of the accident.
