by YCPress

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs publicly said on the evening of the 22nd local time that Syria had sent a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations Human Rights Council about the number of civilian casualties caused by Israel’s air strike on Syria that day, and said that Syria would safeguard Syria’s sovereign independence, territorial integrity and civilian life through legitimate means. Life is safe.

In a statement, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in less than a year, Israel has conducted more than 50 air strikes on Syria, which is a violation of Syria’s sovereign independence and territorial integrity, a serious violation of human rights and international law.

The Syrian government calls on the United Nations and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities and condemn Israel’s behavior.

Syria will safeguard Syria’s sovereign independence, territorial integrity and the safety of people’s lives through all legitimate means within the framework of international norms.

According to Syrian media reports, in the early morning of the 22nd local time, Israel carried out an air strike on the area around Hama City, the capital of Hama Province in western Syria, killing four civilians and injuring four others.

Several local residential buildings were seriously damaged in the air strike.

Israel has long been targeting air strikes in Syria on the grounds of attacking Iranian military facilities, but both the Syrian and Iranian governments deny that Iran has troops in Syria.
