January 23rd According to a report by AFP on January 23, Sri Lankan officials said on the same day that the country’s health minister Pavitra Vanyarachi tested positive for the novel coronavirus and would be self-quarantined.
Previously, the minister publicly supported the use of witchcraft and “magic potions” to fight the country’s growing epidemic.
Pavitra Vanyarach reportedly took a “magic potion” openly.
The potion was later confirmed to contain honey and nutme ingredients, which was made by a wizard.
The wizard claimed that this potion can protect against the novel coronavirus for life.
