February 15th local time, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and Democrat, said in a letter to House Democrats that she planned to set up a “commitating a committee similar to the 9/11 incident” to investigate the impact on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

In the letter, she said: “In order to ensure our safety, our safety (intentionally repeated three times), our next step will be to establish an external independent committee similar to the investigation of the 9/11 incident, and the facts and reasons for the impact on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 by protesters. Line investigation and report.”

Previously, Pelosi has repeatedly called for a similar committee.

The committee will be passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives and established by the President by signing regulations.

Committee members will choose outside the government.

The impact on the Capitol on January 6 also led Democrats to launch a “sedition” rapid impeachment against former President Trump.

The Senate trial of Trump ended on February 13, and Trump was finally acquitted.
