South Sudan’s ambassador to Eritrea dies in Kenya

According to Kenyan media reports, on October 22, local time, South Sudan’s ambassador to Eritrea, Michael Enyang Chok, died at a bank institution in Nairobi, Kenya due to breathing difficulties, at the age of 66.

The Kenya Commercial Bank issued a statement afterwards to confirm this, and confirmed that Ambassador Jock passed away while visiting the Advantage Center on Moi Avenue and announced the temporary closure of the Advantage Center.

On the evening of October 22, local time, South Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Rafael Nashir Kulang also confirmed the news of Ambassador Jok’s death.
