According to a report by Yonhap News Agency on December 18, the District Court of Busan City, South Korea, said again on the same day that it would not approve the arrest of Wu Judun, the former mayor of Busan, who was suspected of sexual harassment.

This is the second time since June this year that the court has made a decision not to approve the arrest of Wu Judun.

The Court for Review of the Necessity of Arrest held that the facts of the crime had been found, the evidence was solid and sufficient, and the suspect also confessed to the facts of the crime, and there was no evidence to destroy or abscond, so it made a decision not to approve the arrest.

Wu Judun is suspected of sexually harassing an employee in his office in early April.

On the 23rd of the same month, he held a press conference to announce his resignation as mayor. In August, the case was transferred to the police for review and prosecution.

The prosecution applied to the court for an ex-arrest warrant on suspicion of forced indecency and other cases on the 15th of this month.
