The World Snooker Tour (WST) revealed on the 9th that Trump, the world’s No. 1 and Lisovsky, the world’s 14th, both withdrew from the upcoming Masters due to positive tests for COVID-19.

Affected by the escalation of coronavirus prevention and control, the more than 40-year-old Snooker Masters moved out of London for the first time this year and was held in Milton Keynes, 80 kilometers northwest of London.

According to the schedule, Trump and Lisovsky will both make their debuts in the first round of the 10th, but they received a positive test for the novel coronavirus on the 9th.

The two were replaced by Perry and Gary Wilson respectively.

The Masters, which invites the world’s top 16 players, will play two first rounds a day from 10 to 13th, and the final will be held on the 17th.

According to the arrangement, Ding Junhui, the top player in China, will play against O’Sullivan, the champion of seven competitions, on the 13th. Chinese rookie Yan Bingtao will play against Australian star Robertson on the 12th.

WST stressed that the closed-door competition strictly implements the coronavirus epidemic prevention regulations.

Each player will be tested for the novel coronavirus two days before the start of his first game and remain in isolation until the results are received.
