London police said on the evening of the 5th that five knife-wielding incidents occurred that night in Croydon area in south London, which had killed one person and injured at least 10 others.
The police statement said that within about three hours on the night of the 5th, the police dealt with five consecutive knife-wielding incidents in the Croydon area, one of which resulted in the death of one person on the spot.
At least two of the injured were seriously injured. Police said they would strengthen night patrols in southern London.
At present, the police have arrested two men and investigated whether there is a link between the five incidents of knife-wielding.
