Seven cabinet ministers in Nepal collectively announced their resignations.

That afternoon, they announced the news at a press conference organized in Kathmandu, saying that it was to protest against the decision to dissolve the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament.

According to the proclamation issued by the presidential palace, Bhandari also announced that elections for the House of Representatives will be held in two stages on April 30, 2021 and May 10, 2021.
