According to TASS News on December 12, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday that Russia reserves the right to take measures on the latest British sanctions against Russia and the right to apply the principle of reciprocity.

Zaharova pointed out that Britain’s new sanctions against Russia show that the British side is not prepared to abandon its confrontational policy against Russia.

According to CCTV News client, in July this year, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab announced that new sanctions will be announced for a total of 49 individuals and groups from Russia, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and Myanmar suspected of human rights violations in recent years. Measures, the assets of sanctioned people in the UK will be frozen.
