Russian Satellite News Agency reported on December 26 that Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that many Russian teachers have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.

“A lot of teachers have been vaccinated and feel good about themselves, hopefully they will be vaccinated,” he said in an interview with the Russian 1 show.

Kravtsov also pointed out that there was no outbreak of disease in schools that fulfilled the epidemic prevention requirements. He noted that he had no fever after vaccination and produced “a good antibody titer”.

The Russian Ministry of Health registered the world’s first human adenovirus vector coronavirus vaccine on August 11.

The vaccine was developed by the National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of Gamalya and the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

It is named “Satellite-V” (also known as Gam-COVID-Vac).

The vaccine adopts two doses of vaccination procedures, with two adenoviruses as vectors, and the vaccination time interval is three weeks.
