With the approval of the Russian authorities, Russian Beifeng Airlines will fly four flights a week, including two each in Sharm el-Sheikh and Khurgada.

Amr Hussein Hindi, deputy director of the Tourism and Civil Aviation Committee of the Egyptian Parliament, said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that before Russia suspended flights between the two countries, Russia was the largest source country of tourists in Egypt, and hoped that the resumption of direct flights would revive Egypt’s tourism industry, which has been hit hard by the novel coronavirus epidemic.
