Russia successfully launched the “Progressive MS-16” cargo spacecraft

February 15 Russia successfully launched the “Progress MS-16” cargo spacecraft on the 15th to deliver supplies to the International Space Station.

According to the Russian National Space Corporation, at 7:45 Moscow time on the 15th, the Russian Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket carrying the “Progress MS-16” cargo spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur launch site in Kazakhstan.

After 8 minutes and 48 seconds, the cargo spacecraft separated from the third stage of the launch vehicle and entered orbit.

It is reported that the spacecraft will fly for two days and is expected to dock with the multi-function docking module of the International Space Station “Dock” at 9:20 Moscow time on the 17th.

It is reported that the spacecraft delivers about 2.5 tons of cargo to the International Space Station, including fuel, experimental equipment, clothing, water and food, as well as materials to repair the leaking part of the Russian Star service module of the International Space Station.
