Bucharest, December 6 The general election of the Romanian Parliament began at 7:00 local time on the 6th. More than 18 million voters nationwide will vote for the new Senate and House of Representatives.

The current parliament of Romania is composed of 465 members of both houses of the Senate, of which 136 seats are in the Senate and 329 are in the House of Representatives.
