Source CCTV: The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Naka region lasted more than a month. On the 4th local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out in a video conference that he hopes to resolve the conflict in the Naka region peacefully, and Russia is making every effort to resolve the regional crisis.

Putin said that Russia is making every effort to resolve the conflict in the South Caucasus region where the Naka region is located as soon as possible. Russia believes that the demands of all parties can be obtained through peaceful means rather than resorting to force.

Russian President Vladimir Putin: We must know that Russia is making every effort to end the conflict in the South Caucasus region as soon as possible. It must save the lives of people who are enemies in this region, but unfortunately, they can only see each other in the front sight of the gun.

Putin emphasized that Russia is actively maintaining communication with both parties to the conflict, with a view to resolving the conflict through peaceful means and achieving results satisfactory to all parties.

Russian President Vladimir Putin: In any case, we have always kept in touch with Armenia and Azerbaijan. We hope that in the end we can achieve a result that satisfies all people living in the region and achieves it through peaceful means.

Azerbaijan and Armenia are located in the South Caucasus. The Naka region is located in the southwest of Azerbaijan. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, war broke out in Azerbaijan and Armenia over the ownership of the Naka region.

In 1994, the two sides reached an agreement on a comprehensive ceasefire, but the two countries have been in a state of hostility over the Naqqa issue, and armed conflicts have occurred from time to time.

On September 27 this year, a new round of conflict broke out in Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Naka issue. In October, under the mediation of relevant countries, the two countries reached a ceasefire agreement in the Naka region three times.

But after the ceasefire agreement came into effect, both sides accused the other of violating the agreement to launch attacks.
