Press Secretary of the Russian President: Russia will not cut off natural gas supply from April 1

April 1st – According to a report by the Russian News Agency on the 1st, the press secretary of the Russian President Peskov said on the same day that Russia will not cut off its natural gas supply to Europe from April 1. The decree on the settlement of natural gas with rubles does not apply to the natural gas already supplied.

Peskov explained that the delivery of natural gas supplied after April 1 will be paid in the second half of April and May, and Russia will not cut off its natural gas supply to Europe from April 1.

Peskov also mentioned the possibility of canceling the settlement of natural gas with rubles: “Nothing remains unchanged, but this decision is currently desirable. The ruble is the most desirable and safest currency for us.”
