Poland extends entry ban on passenger flights from the UK until January 13

by YCPress

On January 5th, local time, in accordance with the relevant government-approved air transport regulations published by Poland’s official journal Law Daily, the entry ban for passenger flights from the United Kingdom was extended from January 7 to January 13.

The ban does not apply to several special circumstances, such as cargo flights, flights at the request of the Prime Minister or passenger flights approved by the Director-General of the Polish Civil Aviation.

The Polish government banned passenger flights from the United Kingdom from landing at its airports on December 22 last year due to the mutant strain of the novel coronavirus in the United Kingdom.

The ban was originally scheduled to expire on January 6 this year.
