Pianist Fu Cong died of COVID-19 in the UK at the age of 86

December 28th, local time, according to the Austrian Music Channel, pianist Fu Cong died of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom at the age of 86.

On the 27th, Fu Cong was diagnosed with COVID-19 by media reports.

“Mr. Fu has been hospitalized for two weeks and I hope he can survive,” his student Kong Jianing, a professor at the Royal Conservatory of Music, revealed in an article.

It is reported that Fu Cong is a famous pianist, known as a “piano poet” and has made great contributions to the piano cause.

His father is Fu Lei, a famous translator.
