Outside White House

On the evening of November 3, local time, the US general election gradually entered the vote-counting stage

And the capital, Washington, DC, was highly tense.

Currently, protests have taken place in Lafayette Square outside the North Gate of the White House, and thousands of people have gathered.

The demonstrators displayed slogans such as “Trump has been lying” and chanted slogans such as anti-racism.

During this time, Biden and Trump supporters clashed physically.

As the U.S. election enters its final stage, many people worry that, given the growing disagreements in American society and the continued spread of extreme emotions, any uncertainty may cause chaos in the election and even lead to violent conflict.

Fearing that there might be turbulence after the election, many buildings and shops in downtown Washington, D.C. were sealed with wooden boards to prevent violence such as “smashing, looting, and looting.”
